Paul J. Dean, Esq. is the founder and sole proprietor of The Dean Law Firm. He is a graduate of Harvard University and the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason and is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Paul has lived and worked in the Mt. Vernon/Alexandria area of Fairfax County for more than 20 years. After a successful government affairs career spanning more than two decades, he founded The Dean Law Firm to more directly meet the legal needs of individuals, small business owners, and non-profit organizations in his community.
Paul resides in the Ft. Hunt Community of Fairfax County with his wife, Kathleen, four children, and faithful hound Duncan. He serves as Board Member of the Mount Vernon Springfield Chamber of Commerce, and he can be found most weekends coaching all manner of youth sports. His ribs recently placed second at the Greater Ft. Hunt BBQ Cook-Off.
Following a career in the legal, government, nonprofit fundraising, and political accounting and compliance fields, Dina Koch, Esq., joined The Dean Law Firm as Of Counsel.
Dina is passionate about helping people and using her professional experience to directly assist individuals and families in their estate planning and estate administration matters, as well as other legal needs.
A graduate of the College of William and Mary and the University of Texas School of Law, Dina is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a proficient Spanish speaker. She is an active community volunteer and managed a charity that addressed food insecurity among students at her local elementary school.
A native Texan, Dina has been a resident of Alexandria for more than 20 years. She lives in the Mount Vernon area of Fairfax County with her husband and two children.
Anne Kenney graduated from the University of Michigan in 1997 with a BA in Political Science, and then got her Juris Doctor degree from Wayne State University Law School in 2000.
After practicing law from 2000 to 2006 in Michigan, specializing in Insurance Defense Litigation, specifically medical malpractice, Anne moved to PA in 2006 and practiced law at the PA Department of Labor, Employment Securities Division, until 2009.
Anne and her husband, Colonel Jeffrey Kenney, a United States Marine since 2004, have three children, Killian, Callahan and Delaney. The Kenneys have lived on and off in Fort Hunt, VA, since 2014 and enjoy being active members of their community.
Anne is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and Michigan.
Susan Fleischman works with The Dean Law Firm as marketing director. Susan brings years of experience with her, having worked in marketing and communications for corporations, agencies, and freelance as an editor, proofreader, writer, and photographer.
Susan and her husband, David, a policy and program director for the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development, have lived in the Fort Hunt area of Alexandria since 1999 with their three children, Leila, Eleanor, and Peter.
